it’s me!

about me.

I am a graphic designer with a love for how design can connect people and ideas, with interests from environmental design to design research. I am a graduate from Miami University of Ohio. I received a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Urban Design Architecture, and a focus in Environmental graphic design and marketing. I then earned my M.Sc. in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies at Ohio University with a focus in Outdoor Education a certificate Museum Studies. Throughout my time at OU I pursued projects that combined my interests in environmental design with environmental interpretation & education. I believe there are opportunities for these fields to meet and for thoughtful, powerful work to be created.

I currently serve as a State/National Americorps member for the OHIO Museum Complex and Crane Hollow Preserve, where I manage a database of over 120,000 specimens collected from the preserve in SE Ohio, develop, design and implement educational materials for print and web, design educational, interpretive, and wayfinding signage throughout the museum and the associated trail system, and I oversee undergraduate interns for both the preserve and the museum.

When I'm not designing you could probably find me traveling, playing Nintendo 64, exploring someplace new, or taking photographs. Everyday is a new adventure, with new opportunities to grow and I try to take advantage of that to the fullest.
